This is the Statefree slogan but it’s also the motto for this community:
Everyone who wants to create a better future for stateless people is welcome!
We want to build a community in which stateless people are at the core of the conversation, while being in collaboration with people who stand behind the same cause and vision.
Stateless people, activists, NGOs, researchers, legal experts or content creators - the list is long and not for us to limit.
Our identities are fluid and while a stateless person is stateless, they might also be a lawyer, a communicator or activist. We don’t believe in categories but we do believe in the power of working together and connecting to each other.
As a stateless person you can use the platform to
… tell your stories and make your voice be heard
… ask questions and learn from other people’s experiences
… support other stateless people by sharing your own knowledge with the community
As an ally you can use this platform to
… empower stateless people by listening and engaging in their stories
… update and inform the community about your work in the area of statelessness
… share findings and facts about statelessness or other information you might have
Engaging in this community will help us to increase visibility and transparency around statelessness and therefore support our road towards a just future.
